Market Update - February / March 2024

After a quiet January, the contractor market in February has seen a soft rebound, particularly in Change and Technical IT roles. The full-time market has experienced a moderate increase of 2.2% from the previous month.

Market Observations:

• The primary growth in contractor opportunities is coming from the private sector, with the public sector still focusing on cost-cutting.
  

• There is a strong supply of contractor resources currently available, particularly in the project space, after a number of slow months.
